We assist school districts with the development of current and aspiring leaders with leadership development workshops, principal mentoring, and team building to help foster an equitable, inclusive school climate that leads to success for all! 

School suspension is the number-one predictor— more than poverty—of whether children will drop out of school, have run-ins with the juvenile justice system, and, in adulthood, face unemployment, reliance on social-welfare programs, and imprisonment. The NLDC's certified Restorative Discipline trainers help schools with climate assessments, data analysis, and restorative discipline implementation to strengthen relationships and build community in schools!

The NLDC team has nearly a century of combined experience in teaching and school leadership. Our team has worked in a variety of school settings and at all school levels. We have made great strides in helping schools close achievement gaps in both urban and rural schools, and we work with teachers and school leaders to prepare them to provide equitable and culturally responsive instruction and school environments.

Whether it is leadership team development, Professional Learning Communities (PLCs), or parent engagement, the NLDC also works alongside schools to take the guesswork out of effective teamwork! We partner with schools and districts to enhance teamwork, develop and effectively implement PLCs, and develop effective parent engagement plans to support success for all!
